Before you start the first paper

Are these real CBSE previous year questions?

Yes. Every question is taken from the MCQ section of a CBSE board paper of 2024 or 2025 — 42 papers across class 10 and class 12 — and its answer comes from the board’s own marking scheme for that paper. Nothing is written by us or by an AI. Where a question needed a diagram we cannot show, it was left out rather than guessed at.

Which classes and subjects are covered?

Class 10 and class 12, the two board years. Class 10 has eight subjects: Science, Mathematics Standard, Mathematics Basic, Social Science, English Language and Literature, Computer Applications, Elements of Business, and Elements of Book-Keeping and Accountancy. Class 12 has fifteen, from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics through Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, History, Geography, Psychology, Sociology, Computer Science and Informatics Practices. Is it free? Do I need to log in?

Free, and no login or app to practise. When you finish the ten questions we ask for your name, phone and whether you are a student, parent, teacher or institute before showing the score and the answer key — that is the only ask, and it is how a teacher who likes what they see gets a call back.

Can I download the CBSE sample papers as PDF?

Not from here — this page has no PDFs. CBSE publishes its official sample question papers — including the CBSE sample papers class 12 2026 and class 10 2026 sets for this year’s exam — and previous year question papers free on cbse.gov.in and cbseacademic.nic.in, and that is the right place for a full paper to print. This page is where you practise the questions from those papers online and find out, in ten minutes, which chapters you actually know.

Is it CBSE PYQ class 10 chapter wise?

Chapter-tagged, not chapter-filtered. Each practice paper is ten questions drawn at random from the whole subject, the way a board paper mixes chapters, and every answer names its chapter so you can see where the marks went. A chapter wise test class 10 CBSE students could filter by is not offered yet: with two or three board questions per chapter it would be a very short test.

What about class 9 and class 11?

Not covered. The bank holds board-exam questions, and CBSE sets board exams for class 10 and class 12 only. A class 9 or class 11 student preparing for next year can still use the class 10 or class 12 paper for the chapters they have done.

Are the questions available in Hindi?

English only at the moment. The questions are stored exactly as printed in the English medium papers; the Hindi medium papers have not been added yet.

Is this the CBSE question bank class 10 2027 students should use?

It is a bank of the 2024 and 2025 board questions, the two most recent boards, on the current competency-based pattern, where a section of one-mark MCQs opens every paper. Nothing in it is invented, and as CBSE releases new papers and marking schemes they are added. Alongside the CBSE sample papers class 10 2026-27 set from the board, it is a fair picture of how the board asks a chapter; it is not a prediction of what will be asked.

Is this a CBSE question paper generator for teachers?

Partly. It generates a ten-question paper from real board questions, which is what most people searching for a CBSE question paper generator want for a quick test.
